A soluble oral powder that provides gentle and effective relief from occasional constipation.
Lax-A-Day® (Polyethylene glycol 3350 or PEG 3350) is an over-the-counter laxative that provides gentle relief from occasional constipation. And what does “gentle” mean, exactly? Well, Lax-A-Day makes the stool softer and easier to pass, and increases bowel movement frequency without causing contractions in the intestines. It’s also gentle on the taste buds, in that it has no flavour at all: simply dissolve it in a cup of coffee, a glass of juice or any other non-alcoholic beverage, then stir and drink. It’s that simple.
Lax-A-Day is a 100% soluble once-a-day treatment.
NO SUDDEN URGENCY
Lax-A-Day won’t trigger an uncomfortable need to go.
Lax-A-Day is flavourless so it goes down easily.
Lax-A-Day is an osmotic laxative. That means that it works with your body to retain water in your stool, softening it so that it can move more easily through your system. This process gently increases the frequency of your bowel movements.
Lax-A-Day is gentle on the digestive tract and works by increasing water retention in your stool.
Lax-A-Day generally takes 2 to 4 days to produce a bowel movement.
Lax-A-Day is available in three bottle formats with built-in measuring caps. It also comes in conveniently pre-measured once-daily sachets—great for when you’re traveling or on the go.
A usual adult dose is 17 grams, once per day, or as directed by your physician.
